Dr. Huey Kidd

Huey Kidd was born in Anniston Alabama, went to The Donoho School, and received his bachelor’s degree in zoology from Auburn University in 1991. He went to Nova Southeastern University in North Miami Beach and received his Doctor of Osteopathy in 1996. He completed his residency in Family Medicine from The Medical Center in Columbus Georgia in 1999. He is board certified in Family Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine. He has been practicing medicine in Thomasville, Alabama, since 1999. He is the Medical Director for Physicians Care of Clarke which is a six clinic FQHC network in four counties serving rural Alabama.

Dr Kidd became interested in Wildlife Photography in 2017. His images have been selected in several magazines and have been featured in National Geographic Your Shots. His photography has been featured for birding tourism in Alabama as well as being selected a wildlife featured photographer for Alabama the Beautiful Magazine. He has an extensive love for wildlife and the outdoors. He believes the world is full of beautiful things and hopes to share his vision through photography.
